Martinsburg offers visitors easy access to outdoor recreation in West Virginia. Indoor attractions in the city include the Arts Centre, a community art education and exhibition space. Each year, the Arts Centre hosts the West Virginia Wine and Arts Festival, which brings together the best in regional wine and folk art, live music and children's entertainment. Visitors to the historic Apollo Civic Theatre enjoy live community theatre and drama workshops.
